We regretfully received the news of the death of a soldier, Sebastian Marczewski, a veteran and aggrieved party in Afghanistan, who died while trying to break the world record in Lake Garda in Italy. He planned to break the record and descend to a depth of 333 meters. The depths of the water that stopped the Man of Steel from Stalowa Wola were his great passion and challenge, which he overcame with his courage, strength and determination. Even before the accident on the mission in Afghanistan, he managed to get half of the Crown of the World, because before he was wounded, he practiced alpine mountaineering. Twice he came alone in winter to Mont Blanc in France called the Roof of Europe, he climbed Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and the highest peak of the Caucasus – Elbrus.
The younger ensign, Sebastian Marczewski, a soldier of the 3rd Battalion of Engineering in Nisko, has left this world on Saturday, 6th of July 2019.
The news of your death shocked us deeply, it is difficult to come to terms with such a great loss. We convey sincere condolences to the family, relatives and collaborators of the deceased.
