Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. signed a cooperation agreement with the Czech company Tatra Export S.R.O. The subject of the contract is the design and delivery of a ready-made 4×4 vehicle with complete technical documentation enabling the production of the vehicle in Poland.
The agreement concerns a 4×4 vehicle. This vehicle will be offered to the Polish Armed Forces in a number of programs and projects in which companies from the Polish Armaments Group participate. Ultimately, the vehicle was acquired in order to expand the range of chassis for command vehicles and other specialized bodies requiring the use of an advanced 4×4 vehicle, among others for Rocket Forces and Artillery. The contract also allows the vehicle to be offered to third markets.
– We specialize in the production of artillery systems. In this segment, we have developed a strategy of offering the Ordering Party complete fire modules, which we create in cooperation with companies belonging to the PGZ Group and the private industry, such as the WB Group. Obtaining the rights to produce a 4×4 vehicle in Poland significantly expands our ability to provide the Polish Armed Forces with solutions tailored to their needs in artillery programs and more, said Bartłomiej Zając, president of Huta Stalowa Wola S.A.
The launch of 4×4 vehicle production by the Polish Armaments Group will expand the offer for the Polish Armed Forces with high-mobility vehicles for transporting equipment and people. This vehicle can be a universal base for many specialized versions intended for all types of troops. The modern design ensures very good driving characteristics, low operating costs and high driving comfort. Huta Stalowa Wola, together with its foreign partner, is taking another step to be able to offer the Polish Army modern 4×4 chassis that meet the requirements of the modern battlefield.
