On August 24th, the convoy with the IV CFM equipment produced by HSW with the self-propelled automatic mortar cal. 120 mm Rak has left Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. The place of the equipment’s destination is the 21st Brigade of Podhale Rifles.
Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. finalizes the next phase of the contract concluded on April 28th, 2016, for the supply of equipment for eight CFM Rak. Each module includes 8 firewalls, i.e. mortars M120K on the wheeled armored transporter Rosomak and 4 artillery command vehicles. HSW S.A. without delay and in accordance to the dates included in the contract, transfers to the units of the Polish Army the fourth company fire module. The other modules will be transferred later this year.
The first elements of the company fire module of 120 mm self-propelled mortar RAK on a wheeled chassis Huta Stalowa Wola has handed over to the 17th Wielkopolska Mechanized Brigade on June 30th, 2017. This delivery has inaugurated the supply chain of new artillery equipment for the Polish Armed Forces. II CFM went to the 12th Mechanized Brigade named after gen. defends Józef Haller in Szczecin. III CFM was delivered to the 15th Mechanized Brigade.
