December is an amazing time of the magical atmosphere of Christmas and the most beautiful moments spent with our closest people. It’s a time of Christmas tree, carols and gifts.
Huta Stalowa Wola took part in the “Szlachetna Paczka” campaign, which connects the poor and the rich since 2001, bringing out what is the most beautiful in all people. Szlachetna Paczka is a nationwide project established to help families in a difficult financial situation. The project is distinguished by the fact that help is directed to specific families and adapted to their needs. The employees of Huta Stalowa Wola have decided to support a single mother with a child this year.
Thanks to the great commitment of the employees of Huta Stalowa Wola S.A., two weeks before Christmas, the family has received packages corresponding to their most urgent needs and dreams.
Thanks to the generosity of the employees of HSW S.A., between the 28th of November and 8th of December this year, we managed to deliver packages to the family, which included a bed, toys, cleaning products, blankets, quilts, bed sheets, pillows, food and a vacuum cleaner purchased by the Komisja wydziałowa Solidarność Z5 (Solidarity Z5 departmental committee).
This assistance would not have been possible without the involvement of HSW’s employees, who were not indifferent to the needs of the family. It is a huge testimony of solidarity with those in need.
