The Voivodeship Labor Office in Rzeszów has awarded companies that work best with industry schools. They create patron classes, offer internships, pay out scholarships or, for example, provide necessary equipment for practical vocational training.
The aim of the competition is to select economic entities exhibiting the greatest educational values, ie stand out from other entities in the field of supporting vocational schools in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
One of the distinguished companies was Huta Stalowa Wola S.A.
Huta Stalowa Wola, former Southern Works, has invested in human capital since its beginning. People employed here could count on better conditions than in other factories. The works have supported science by creating a free three-year-old mechanical gymnasium. The students were provided with free learning aids and meals. They have also received remuneration for the internships. The tradition of supporting education continues to this day. HSW invests in scholarships, trainings and internships for talented students.
