Huta Stalowa Wola mechanizes production, develops machinery park and completed the construction of a new hall. All this to gain a competitive advantage by improving the quality of products and strengthening the position on the domestic and international market.
In July this year construction works related to the development of a new production hall with an area of 3.5 thousand square meters have been completed, final acceptance is currently underway.
As part of this project, an X-ray lab with the largest chamber for X-rays of large-size welded structures was also made. The chamber allows radiographic X-ray of products with measurements of 4m x 10m x 2.5 m and weight up to 15 tons as well as construction materials, including steel materials and welded joints, with cross-sections up to 100 mm. The chamber is a unique and the largest facility of this type in Poland and one of the largest in Europe.

The first stage of the implementation of the REGINA program, Huta Stalowa Wola, ended a few weeks ahead of schedule. Accelerated program implementation and the efficiency improvement plan implemented in 2016 have caused HSW to close the first half of 2018 with a better result by several million PLN than the plan assumed. This is a radically better result than the result from the first half of 2017. More effective supervision over the expenditure translates into an improvement in cost-effectiveness and lowering the price of the offered products, which our clients will also benefit from – emphasizes Jacek Kosiński, Member of the Management Board for financial affairs of HSW S.A.
