Huta Stalowa Wola at the International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO 2017

This year’s MSPO 2017 exhibition was an exceptional event, both for  guests and exhibitors.  Guests were able to see the most advanced artillery and armored  weapons from Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW S.A.). The ability to present our latest innovations was a reason to be proud of our accomplishments.

During the MSPO 2017 exhibition HSW S.A. has presented:

• new amphibious infantry fighting vehicle (model) with Remote-Controlled Turret System 30mm (prototype)

• 120mm self-propelled mortar on a wheeled chassis

• 155mm self-propelled howitzer on a wheeled chassis KRYL (prototype)

• 120mm mortar system SPEAR

We can proudly say that our presentation was received with enthusiasm by both Polish and foreign guests. Undoubtedly the biggest hit of this year’s show was the New Amphibious Infantry Fighting Vehicle.

On Tuesday, September 6th, 2017, at MSPO exhibition Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. was visited by students and teachers of the Vocational Education Centre in Stalowa Wola as well as by the representatives of the Rzeszów University of Technology.

For young people passionate about artillery and armored weapons, the opportunity to visit the MSPO exhibition in Kielce was a great way to look for new inspiration. The workers of Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. have presented the production capabilities, development plans, and the most advanced equipment from our company.

We are very pleased that our achievements are inspiring for young and talented people whose potential in the near future will drive our company’s development and possibly create new innovative projects.

During the four days of exhibition HSW’s products were seen, among others, by:

Minister of National Defence – Antoni Macierewicz, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence – Bartosz Kownacki, Head of National Security Office – Paweł Soloch, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence – Tomasz Szatkowski,  Marshal of Podkarpackie Voivodeship – Władysław Ortyl, Member of the Polish Parliament – Rafał Weber, and the President of Stalowa Wola – Lucjusz Nadbereżny.

On the last day of MSPO exhibition Huta Stalowa Wola has received a Statuette to celebrate the 25th MSPO anniversary, handed to the Vice President of HSW Paweł Majewski by the President of Targi Kielce S.A. Andrzej Mochoń.
