On October 15th current year Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. has handed over the last 8th Company Fire Module with self-propelled automatic mortars 120mm RAK and Artillery Command Vehicles.

HSW S.A. without delay, in accordance with the deadlines agreed upon in the contract, transfers to the units of the Polish Army the eighth company fire module. With these deliveries Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. completes the implementation of the contract concluded on April 28th, 2016 for the production of equipment for eight CFM RAK. Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. is the leader of the consortium, which on the basis of the agreement from 2016 delivered eight CFM RAK to the Polish Armed Forces. Artillery units were equipped with more than 60 M120K units. Until October 30th this year HSW S.A. will hand over the last eighth CFM RAK together with the Artillery Vehicle for Armaments Repair, implemented under a separate agreement. During the implementation of the contract for the supply of CFM RAK, specialists from HSW S.A. trained over 400 users of this new equipment in the Polish Armed Forces.
It is worth mentioning that on October 10th, 2019, the Armaments Inspectorate of the Ministry of National Defense signed a contract with Huta Stalowa Wola belonging to the PGZ group to continue the supply of mortars and command vehicles to two Company Fire Modules of 120mm RAK self-propelled mortars in the years 2020-2021.
– RAK is a Polish construction, designed by Polish engineers, praised by commanders and users. Not only our soldiers, but also representatives of allied formations speak about it with appreciation. This is not our last order in the Polish defense industry. Prospects for HSW as well as for the entire Polish Armaments Group are very good – congratulations on a job well done – said Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defense during the signing ceremony.
Each company module includes 8 fire means, i.e. M120K mortars on a Rosomak wheeled chassis, and 4 artillery command vehicles. As part of CFM, HSW is also supplying serial ammunition and repair vehicles, as well as carrying out development work in the field of acquiring artillery reconnaissance vehicles.
