December 21, 2018, the Supervisory Board of HSW S.A. settled the competition for the position of the President of the Board, General Director of Huta Stalowa Wola SA, appointing Mr. Bartłomiej Zając for this position.

Bartłomiej Zając – engineer by profession. A graduate of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications at the Wrocław University of Technology and the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Participant in numerous courses in management, production management and trade.
Professionally associated with Huta Stalowa Wola since 2007. He started his professional career as a constructor, successively climbing its ranks in the HSW S.A. development division. From 2015, Development Director of HSW S.A.
As an engineer responsible, among others, for the projects, implementation and introduction to the armaments of the Polish Armed Forces 120 mm self-propelled mortar RAK and 155 mm self-propelled howitzer KRAB. As a manager, an active participant in structural and organizational changes at HSW S.A., responsible for building the company’s technological and development potential, including the implementation of development projects, including: Remote Control Tower System 30 mm, New Amphibious Fighting Infantry Vehicle. He was responsible for the successful project of obtaining, integrating and polonizing the KRAB howitzer currently produced in HSW S.A.
He has managerial and managerial experience in managing project teams.
