Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. took part in the Land Forces Day, which took place on September 24, 2023 at the 1st Warsaw Armored Brigade in Wesoła.
On the occasion of the Land Forces Day, 1WBPanc hosted a military picnic – Open Barracks Day. Among the attractions, guests and visitors could see modern military equipment, a sapper track, promotional stands and a soldier’s pea soup.
HSW S.A. showed the New BORSUK Amphibious Infantry Fighting Vehicle and the 30 mm Remotely Controlled Turret System on APC. Residents could see the equipment from Stalowa Wola used by the Land Forces: the KRAB self-propelled howitzer, the BAOBAB scattered mine vehicle, and WR-40 LANGUSTA rocket launchers. In addition, the soldiers showed LEOPARD and ABRAMS tanks, the M42 HIMARS rocket artillery system, K-9 Thunder cannon-habubies, K2 Black Panther tanks, SPZR POPRAD self-propelled anti-aircraft missile systems, MRAP class multi-role Cougar armored personnel carriers, and ŻMIJA light attack vehicles.
Commanders and officers, including the General Commander of the Armed Forces, General Kukuła, also took part in the celebration of the Land Forces Day. Head of the Board of Armored and Mechanized Forces, Brig. Gen. Jarosław Górowski thanked the soldiers for their service and professionalism.
