On September 17, 2023, exercise AUTUMN FIRE -23 took place at the Land Forces Training Center – Orzysz. It was the first exercise of the kind open to the public, who could observe the operation of troops using combat techniques from a close distance. The gathered audience could see the most modern military equipment in action. The Autumn Fire was a demonstration of the interoperability capabilities of various types of troops and equipment and their cooperation on the modern battlefield. 1,000 soldiers and 70 units of equipment took part in the show, watched by 10,000 spectators.
The exercise was based on a dynamic action scenario using combat ammunition and a static presentation of the latest weapons currently in use or planned to be introduced in the Polish Armed Forces.
In Orzysz, Huta Stalowa Wola presented the ZSSW-30 with ATGM Spike on KTO ROSOMAK and NBWP BORSUK in dynamic operation, performing the fire tasks assigned to the vehicles using combat ammunition. Moreover, in the static part of the exercise, HSW S.A. As part of the presentation, PGZ presented one of the above-mentioned types of equipment, as well as the latest products of modern military technology, such as the OTTOKAR-BRZOZA tank destroyer and the GLADIUS unmanned search and strike system coupled with a 4×4 WARAN command vehicle.
In addition to HSW S.A. products At the static show, JELCZ presented two of the latest HOMAR – A and HOMAR – K rocket launchers on Jelcz chassis, which were integrated with rocket containers, and a fire control system.
