The outdoor part of the celebration of the 85th anniversary of HSW S.A. began in the afternoon on Błonia Nadsańskie in Stalowa Wola. organized for its employees and their families, children and residents of Stalowa Wola and all guests.
For children, HSW has prepared stands with creative games, sports competitions, inflatables, competitions with prizes and anniversary gifts.
At Błonia, HSW also presented its most important products manufactured in Stalowa Wola. Residents and guests could see the KRAB howitzer, the RAK mortar, the 4×4 WARAN vehicle and the New BORUSK Floating Infantry Combat Vehicle up close.
During the outdoor event, soldiers from the 21st Podhale Rifle Brigade from Rzeszów presented their combat skills. They also showed military equipment, and sappers from Nisko showed their sapper skills and equipment.
At 5 p.m., the concerts began on the large outdoor stage with a performance by the MIG band. The event was hosted by TV stars Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna and Adam Bienias.
After the first concert, the gathered audience and HSW employees and their families were welcomed by the Management Board of HSW S.A. The Management Board reminded that Huta Stalowa Wola celebrates its birthday together with the City of Stalowa Wola. The president of HSW recalled that HSW had been associated with the city and its needs from the beginning and remained sensitive to the needs of residents and the local community. The 85th anniversary was an opportunity to present financial checks intended for statutory purposes to institutions that deal with those most in need on a daily basis. The checks were received by the director and children from St. Orphanage. Brother Albert and from the “Podleśna Przystań” Care and Education Facility in Stalowa Wola. The third financial check was received by SP ZZOZ in Stalowa Wola, which the Management Board handed over to the director of the facility – Mrs. Monika Pachacz-Świderska.
The audience continued to enjoy the music of the VIDEO band, and then Liber & Mezo presented their performance. The last band to perform was ZAKOPOWER with leader Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka.
The event took place under the Honorary Patronage of the Mayor of Stalowa Wola.
