On September 28, 2023, Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. purchased from Liugong Dressta Machinery Sp. z o. o. based in Stalowa Wola assets and took over employees pursuant to Art. 231 of the Labor Code.
Therefore, a new branch was established under the name: Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. Branch I in Stalowa Wola, which will operate on the acquired property. The acquired resources will increase the production capacity of Huta Stalowa Wola S.A.
On October 3, 551 new employees of HSW S.A. were welcomed at the plant. The event was attended by employees of the acquired plant, local authorities, politicians and HSW S.A. staff.
The transaction was financed with funds from recapitalization received from the Capital Investment Fund.
