On June 4th 2023 Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. signed the agreement with Armaments Agency for supplying Scattered Mining Vehicles BAOBAB-K (Pojazd Minowania Narzutowego BAOBAB-K). The contract includes delivery of 24 vehicles to Polish Armed Forces produced by the consortium of Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) and HSW S.A. as a leader of the consortium. Along with BAOBABs, the company will provide technical units with service-reparative qualities. The value of the contract is for approximately 510 million Polish zloty and realization of said contract is between years 2026-2028.

Scattered Mining Vehicles BAOBAB-K is the result of research and development work commissioned on the basis of the contract with Armament Agency (f. Inspectorate of Armaments) signed on December 28th 2018. As the result of this research, the prototype was created, all the assumptions concerning issues of tactics and technology of the system were confirmed as well as all the technical documentation allowing the start of the serial production was created. The project was finished with a positive result of qualifying tests in November 2022.
